Plantation Drive on Ayurveda Day

On Ayurveda Day, September 23, 2025, PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya INS Chilka organized a meaningful plantation drive as part of the celebrations. Embracing the Ayurveda Day theme “Ayurveda for People & Planet,” the students and staff planted various medicinal and herbal plants within the school premises. This initiative highlighted the deep-rooted principles of Ayurveda, which emphasize harmony between human health and the environment. The plantation drive aimed to foster awareness about the benefits of nature in holistic wellness, promote ecological balance, and encourage sustainable living among the younger generation. Through this proactive environmental effort, the school contributed to nurturing a greener planet and reinforcing Ayurveda’s timeless connection with nature.
