Building & BaLA Initiatives

BaLA (Building as Learning Aid) is an innovative concept aimed at improving education quality by creating child-friendly, activity-based, and inclusive school environments. It integrates learning with school infrastructure, making architecture a resource for teaching. Developed by Vinyas, Centre for Architectural Research & Design, with UNICEF support, BaLA is now adopted by KVS for its Vidyalayas. Examples include using doors to teach angles and gardens to explore plant types.
